I wish to acknowledge a few of the many people who have helped to make this proj- ect possible. My pastor, mentor, and spiritual advisor, Dr. Lowery, has cowritten this book with me.

Additionally, he has provided invaluable assistance in the entire project. Without him and his advice, prayer, and help, this book would not have gone forward. I also honor his beautiful wife, Mildred, for her support, encouragement, and valuable assistance in this ministry.

I gratefully recognize and credit those at Whitaker House in New Kensington, Penn- sylvania, who have been so instrumental in 9. Most of all, I give grateful tribute and praise to God, who has called me and anointed me to share these messages. It has caused hundreds of thou- sands of people to consider how much Jesus Christ suffered when He bled and died on the cross.

His blood makes avail- able to us greater freedom, power, and deliv- erance than we can imagine. When we apply the truth of the blood to our lives, we can live in the fullness and power that Jesus provides for us.

The Lord opened my spiritual eyes, and the manifestations of His power seemed to be rolling in on the horizon in a way I had never seen before. The atmosphere in that church was charged with an energy that I have witnessed only a few times before or since. I saw an angel prompting The Power of the Blood 16 various people in the congregation and sweep- ing the carpets in the church, preparing the way for the receiving of the Word of God. I asked the Lord what these things meant—the red mist in the sky and the angel preparing the way.

He told me that they were symbolic of the cleansing and sanctifying blood of the Lamb of God. The Lord also showed me what looked like a big mirror, which suddenly appeared on the wall. It resembled a huge movie screen, and breathtaking scenes began to appear on it. This dimension refers to the period of time some 2, years ago during which Jesus lived on earth and suffered indignities, wounds, and bloodshed. We were given the gift of being able to draw close to Him in a relationship of love, as He always intended.

The Eternal Dimension Second, the sufferings of Jesus also some- how exist in a timeless dimension. The Continuing Dimension Third, there is a continuing dimension of the blood of Christ. The shed blood of Jesus is an ongoing provision for those who have trusted in Him; it still can—and should—be applied in the lives of believers throughout the world.

This provision must remain real to us. The Power of the Blood 18 shedding of His blood. It is a practice that we should neither ignore nor take for granted. The blood of Christ is not to be treated as something ordi- nary or common. It is precious to God and to us. Without the blood, none of us could have a relationship with our heavenly Father or live in victory over temptation, sin, and the enemy.

The continuing dimension of the blood, and what it means for our lives, is the central focus of this book. It breaks down It can melt the most callous, murderous, vengeful, and spiteful heart known to mankind. It touches broken and despised hearts. It brings hope, cleans- ing, healing, and deliverance. By the blood of Jesus, we have these and other wonderful provisions, which we will see throughout this book: It broke my heart.

I saw the Roman soldiers nailing His hands to the cross using huge nails. I saw His blood dripping and running down. I remember seeing the blood coming not only from His hands, but also from all over His body.

He had been beaten so badly that I wanted to comfort Him and do something to help Him. The men who were doing this terrible deed were cursing and blaspheming Him. I saw them lift up the Lord on the cross.

It was so horrible and sad! I was weep- ing as I saw this mighty vision. The angels placed every drop of blood that Jesus shed in vessels they held in their hands, and then they carried the blood of Jesus to heaven. The angels were crying as they carried the drops of blood. As I watched in awe, I began to cry so hard that I could not see the vision anymore.

I was overwhelmed by the awesome price that He paid for you and me. God began to speak to me about writing a book on the blood of the Lamb. He showed me things in the Spirit that demonstrated what the Word says about the power of the blood. He began to show me what it means to be cleansed, kept, and set free by this precious blood that Jesus shed on Calvary. My soul burned within me as the Lord led me to write and talk to others about the pre- cious blood of the Lamb of God.

Through vari- ous visions and revelations, I began to see, more and more, the absolute necessity for the shedding of the blood of Christ.

One of the chief We will look at the nature of this lifeblood in the next chapter. It is through blood that every human being has physical life. In , physician and anatomist Dr. William Harvey published On the Circulation of the Blood, in which he proposed that life is in the blood.

This knowledge was essential for understanding how the human body functions, as well as the healing of dis- ease. The Power of the Blood 24 Yet the crucial fact that the life of the entire body is derived from its blood was already clearly stated in the Bible thousands of years earlier.

God told the Old Testament patriarch Noah, Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you.

I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. Genesis 9: Human blood and its functioning in the body is a subject so complex that an entire medi- cal specialty—hematology—is dedicated to its study.

It is constantly in motion, circulating in the heart, arteries, capillar- ies, and veins. All these tissues have one thing in common: The Power of the Blood 26 the bone marrow, and it recycles and cleanses itself hundreds of times a day. It circulates through the body, pumped by the heart and oxygenated by the lungs. It delivers nutrients and oxygen, as well as hormones and other substances, to the cells and takes away carbon dioxide and other waste products.

Blood, therefore, gives us strength. It makes growth possible. It is the protector of the body.

It provides an organized resistance against anything that is harmful to the body. It plays a vital role in our immune system and in maintaining a relatively constant body tem- perature.

It is a harbinger of health and well- being. A donation of healthy blood is a tremendous blessing to the sick. Approximately thirty-two thousand pints of blood are used in the United States every day of the year. Good health is not possible with poor blood, and blood transfusions save literally thousands of lives each year. For example, in general, when a muscle stops working, the rest of the body continues working; but if the blood fails, the entire body dies.

God has assigned to blood a certain sacred- ness that is mysteriously connected to life by His own decree: This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: Leviticus 3: You shall The Power of the Blood 28 not eat it; you shall pour it on the earth like water.

You shall not eat it, that it may go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD. Deuteronomy When mankind rebelled against God, its very nature became corrupt and its blood became tainted.

If Adam had not sinned, he would not have died. But by his sin, he introduced death into the human family. The human body, there- fore, became subject to corruption and decay, and death ultimately comes to each one of us. DeHaan, author of The Chemistry of the Blood, agreed: Since the LIFE is in the blood, accord- ing to the Scriptures, and the wages of sin is death, sin affected the blood of Because [all men are descended from Adam and] the blood of all men partakes of the sin of Adam, it can only be cleansed by the application of sinless blood, for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

The Power of the Blood 30 Where did these skins come from? Ani- mals must have had to be killed so that their skins could become coverings for the nakedness of Adam and Eve.

This shedding of blood was not only for the purpose of cov- ering their physical nakedness, but it was also a covering for their spiritual nakedness. In Genesis 4: This was not because tending sheep was a more honorable vocation than tilling the ground.

Both were legitimate occupations. In unmistakable language, the Bible The First Taking of Human Life The precious nature of blood continues to unfold to us as we further read the bibli- cal account of the beginning of humanity.

Because blood is sacred, it is a cause for judgment if it is spilled wantonly. Tragically, a disregard for human life was manifested shortly after the human race began.

Cain was angry when his offering of crops was not accepted. Genesis 4: Numbers Its blood Whoever eats it shall be cut off. The Old Testament prophet Micah described the desperate state of mankind in this way: The faithful man has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net. That they may successfully do evil with both hands; the prince asks for gifts, the judge seeks a bribe, and the great man utters his evil desire; so they scheme together.

The best of them is like a brier; the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge. Micah 7: While most of us are not murderers, every one of us dem- onstrates our fallen nature in that we have all missed the mark. We have all sinned, in one way or another. None of us has lived a perfect life. No matter how good-natured we are or In addition, the fallen nature of this world is demonstrated by the fact that suf- fering, in some form, is the common lot of all people. Things are not right for us personally, and they are not right in the world.

Blood seems to have a strong effect on human beings: It either repulses a person or appeals to him.

Many are squea- mish at the sight of blood. Others are mor- bidly curious about it, fascinated with blood itself and with its symbols.

Many people have attempted to under- stand the unusual power of blood to intrigue. Hollywood and the media understand the drawing power of bloodshed and gore. People involved in the occult use blood in various rites and ceremonies as a central part of their false religions.

The fact is that our enemy, Satan, understands the sacredness of blood and causes people to misuse it for his perverse, evil purposes. The Bible says, Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Genesis 6: In Genesis 9: The Power of the Blood 36 in His image and any violation of our lives must be accounted for. Atonement Needed Do you think that when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they knew that they would unleash a bloodbath on the earth? Undoubt- edly not, but that is what happened when they disregarded Him and His ways. It is not just physical bloodshed that is the problem; rebellion against God is the overall cause, and it must be atoned for.

Matthew 5: The price is high, and it must be paid. Sin must be dealt with. Bloodshed must be paid for by blood. Many centuries ago, these truths Many Bibles have the words of Christ writ- ten in red ink.

Yet it has been said that the See, for example, Mark This requirement reinforced the message of the personal cost of sin. Many people today, who see dead animals only in supermarkets, neatly packaged, think Yet a main reason God gave His people this system was so they would understand that sin is costly and must be atoned for. Those who brought offer- ings to the priests were to grasp the fact that there was a price to pay for having sinned and that one cannot lightly enter into the presence of a holy God.

They were to com- prehend clearly that blood was necessary for atonement. Peace offerings were fur- ther divided into three: The burnt offering was offered daily in the morning and evening and, on certain days, more frequently. However, the economic standing of the offerers was taken into consideration, and the very poor could offer birds rather than the more expensive animals.

That is why it is often called the whole burnt offering. The offerer himself would take a knife and kill the animal. The attend- ing priest would sprinkle the blood upon the altar. See Leviticus 1: Sin Offering The sin offering is described in Leviti- cus 4: Gener- ally, it was made by one who had committed sin without realizing, at the time, that what he had done was sinful. It also applied to sins committed unintentionally rather than actively and deliberately.

Its presentation presupposed the consciousness of sin on the part of the person presenting it. Some of the blood was placed on the horns of the altar of sweet incense in the tabernacle of meeting.

The rest of the blood was poured at the base of the altar of the burnt offering. Offerings for priests or the whole congregation were then taken outside the camp and burned. Offerings for individuals were eaten by the priests in the Holy Place. Special instructions applied to the Day of Atonement, which we will review later.

Guilt Trespass Offering The instructions for the guilt or trespass offering are recorded in Leviticus 5: The offending person had to It has in view not so much the guilt of sin, which is the aspect of the sin offering, but rather the injury. Peace Offerings As I mentioned earlier, the three peace offerings described in Leviticus 3 are the thank or praise offering, the votive or vow offering, and the freewill offering.

The names indicate the purpose of each: They were not commanded to be offered at any set time, except Pentecost Lev. The climax of Jesus ministry on earth was His death on the cross for the sins of the world and His tri- umphant resurrection from the grave. He freed us from the snare of the enemy so that we could be reconciled to God the Father and start living in His kingdom of love and truth.

Through His death and resurrection, Jesus struck the enemy with a mortal wound that will ultimately lead to the total demise of the devil. In His victory, Jesus assures us that we, the born- again children of God, can also have victory in every battle against Satan. But thanks be to God!

Christians are the redeemed who have turned from sin and Satan back to God and have joined His fight against the forces of darkness. The final outcome of our spiritual warfare with the enemy was actually deter- mined by God from the beginning. Right after the devil led mankind into disobedience, the Lord told Satan, And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed [Jesus]; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel Genesis As the Second Adam, Jesus resisted evil and obeyed God even to the point of death on the cross.

The Bible says that Jesus released us forever from the satanic bondage of fear: Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

For assuredly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendant of Abraham. Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propi- tiation for the sins of the people.

In Revelation, John described Satans final, cos- mic defeat in the drama of the ages: The devil, who deceived, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever Revelation Centuries earlier, the prophet Isaiah had also seen Satans demise through the telescope of prophecy: How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. Those who see you will gaze at you,say- ing: Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wil- derness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners? Isaiah Satan takes people prisoner, but Jesus frees them. At the beginning of His ministry, Jesus announced, The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.

Luke Since Christ has defeated Satan, why is the devil still our enemy? You might think that he would have no more strength to use against us. But this is not the case, because we have not yet reached the end of the age, and Gods purposes for the world are not yet complete. Gods people are still locked in a tremendous conflict with satanic forces. Satan has not ceased fighting God and Gods people. Evil spirits are still active and danger- ous.

Our greatest struggles in life are against the powers of this dark world.

Why are so many people in the world today caught up in indescribable anguish and suffering? Some of this pain, as I wrote earlier, has to do with the fact that we live in a fallen world. Yet other suffering is due to the devils increasing attacks. At the end of time, when Satan is defeated, he will no longer be able to exert any power or influence over the world.

Satan knows his time is short, and he wants to destroy as many people as he can in the time he has left. The fallen angels who followed Satan in rebellion also know their time is limited. In fact, they fear a pre- mature final judgment. In Matthew , a legion of demons asked Jesus why He had come to punish them before their time. Have You come here to torment us before the time?

They were startled because they knew they would lose a final confrontation with Jesus, but they didnt expect Him to appear at that time and exercise authority over them. In Lukes account of this incident, the unclean spirits begged Jesus not to send them to the abyss. In the Bible, Satan is never referred to as having power beyond the ability to deceive those who are willing to believe his lies and trust in the limited power granted to him.

Yet, although he is limited in what he can do, he uses everything in his power and at his disposal to deceive and destroy. Therefore, until the day when Christ returns and the enemy is ultimately defeated, spiritual warfare will continue. Even though we know that Christ will elimi- nate the forces of evil in the end, this knowledge does not lessen the fierceness of the struggle or its impor- tance.

The enemy that prompted rebellion in heaven still inspires rebellion on earth. Remember that the Bible refers to Satan as the god of this age 2 Corinthians The antagonism between the Spirit of Christ and the spirit of Satan is evident in every arena of life. We should not be surprised at these battles. Peter wrote, Do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you 1 Peter Jesus said, In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world John We now have the means of victory!

Instead of being at the enemys mercy, we can defeat him through Christ and the power of His resurrection. The victory is ours to receive and apply. We are to battle against injustice, evil, and all the works of Satan. It is through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the ministry of the Word of God that we can learn to appropriate what Jesus won for us at Calvary and defeat the work of the enemy.

To begin, we must do the following. Be Redeemed from the Power of Satan In order to understand and engage in spiritual war- fare, you first have to be redeemed from the power of the enemy. Have you asked God to forgive your sins, and have you received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life?

You need to do this right now, so that you can comprehend and put into practice scriptural truths concerning this spiritual war. When Saul was converted and became the apostle Paul, Jesus told him that he was to turn [people] from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me Acts Turn away from this madness immediately.

If you continue to harden yourselves, you will spend your eternity in Hell fire dancing and "evangelising". You who pretend to evangelise others, you yourselves have not received Jesus yet. For if you had received Him, His Holy Spirit would have already reminded you that it is neither in thugs' clothing, with earrings, necklaces, big rings and other jewelleries, with long and or braided hair, nor with satanic music that you should win souls for Christ. Accept Jesus Christ now, be baptised by immersion, and renounce this folly.

For those of you so-called Christians, seducing yourselves and claiming that by playing in worldly musical groups you can "evangelise", pay attention to this last warning from the Lord.

What you call Christian Opera, Christian ballet, or whatever worldly distraction group that you struggle to call Christian group with the purpose of justifying yourselves, is nothing but pure seduction. Know that seduction is different from Evangelism and Evangelism does not require seduction. To evangelise means to talk of salvation in Jesus Christ to those who have not yet received Him, with the help of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, without seductive methods which are nothing other than the methods of Hell.

If you do not repent, you will spend eternity in Hell singing Opera or dancing ballet, and your "evangelism" will continue in eternal torment. And for you seducers who go to night clubs to "evangelise", renounce this folly before it's too late. Save your soul while it is still possible. As for you who think that the Gospel of Jesus is somehow obsolete, and requires to be modernised or updated to meet up with the realities of time, be careful!

You are playing at the gate of Hell. Understand that it is not to the Word of God to change and adjust itself to you, but you are the one to change and conform yourself to the Word of God. Once more I repeat: God will judge us only on the basis of what is written in His Word. As for you greedy pastors, you who have abandoned the truth because of money, you whose main message is based on tithes and offerings, you who have created satanic methods in order to cause faithful to dance and line up every Sunday with the purpose of collecting money, you who cause faithful to make vows that oblige them to give money, and attract curses upon them when they are unable to give, you who cause faithful to take commitments to give money frequently in order to finance the various useless projects that you undertake all the time, know that your wickedness will cost you dearly.

Through trick and seduction you cause faithful to bind themselves with sacred commitments which they themselves ignore the consequences. Because of greed and the search for vanity, you are ready to do anything. If you do not repent, and renounce your wickedness, you will continue your ministry in eternal torment. You Jezebels, who present yourselves as female pastors, female evangelists, female teachers, female apostles, or female church elders, know that satan to whom you think you are rendering service is an ungrateful master.

He will be the first to torture you when you get to Hell. And if amongst you there are some who ignorantly thought they were serving God, they should know as from today that the Bible strictly forbids women to teach or to take authority over a man in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. God does not recognise any female Elder in the Church.

If you value your salvation, renounce this abomination before it is too late. As for you, so-called Christian women who fill the churches every Sunday with trousers and short skirts, in transparent and other seductive dresses, with jewelleries and other satanic outfits, with uncovered heads and all forms of make-ups, know that if you do not repent, you will continue your make-ups and seduction in the fire and worms of Hell forever.

You are warned! You who take better care of your body than your soul, you who consider external look, perfumes, make-ups, hair-styles and other fashions more than obedience to God, after reading this testimony you now know what awaits you in Hell if you do not repent. As for you who are married and who had got your Partner through incantation, this is the time to confess your witchcraft in order to be freed, and to free also your partner who is still under the grip of your incantations.

If you do nothing, know that Hell awaits you. There are some divorcees agents of satan, so-called Christians, who as soon as they think of remarriage and are told that the Bible does not permit remarriage as long their ex-partner is still alive, delve into occultism in order to eliminate her, with the goal of quickly catching another prey that will be the next victim.

I have a message for these wicked men. If you do not repent, you will understand it in the days ahead. You who remain at ease in prostitution, as you read in the testimony of the 7 Columbian youths, if you do not repent, you will continue your prostitution in Hell.

Unfortunately, it will not be the type of prostitution that brings any excitement, but rather a sorrowful form of prostitution that you have never imagined.

I highly recommend you read the testimony of the 7 Columbian youths that can be found on mcreveil. It complements this one, and helps you to understand more the reality of Hell. If after reading this testimony, you would like to repent and need help to that effect, contact us and we will help you.
